Teen Volunteering at the Library
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Apache Junction Public Library. After submitting your application, you will receive an email within 3–5 business days. If you do not receive a response within 10 days, please contact Stephanie Oplinger, Teen Volunteer Coordinator, at saoplinger@apachejunctionaz.gov.
Teen volunteers must:
- Be 12–17 years old and in 7th grade or higher (18 is ok if still in high school)
- Live in or attend school in Apache Junction
Shifts are typically once a week, for 2 hours.
Please note that court-appointed service hours are not accepted.

The volunteer application for adults ages 18+ is found on the City of Apache Junction’s Job Page when library volunteer positions are available.
