Teen Event – Crime Scene Investigation ~ Tuesday, Sept 21, 5-7 pm
We’ve partnered with the Apache Junction Police Department! Teens will learn what it is like to investigate a crime scene. Snacks provided!

Teen Book Club ~ Tuesday, September 28, 5-6 pm
This month we have chosen to read Liz Braswell. She has a series of Twisted Tales. She takes tales like Cinderella, Peter Pan or Alice in Wonderland and twists them for a thrilling new adventure. Sounds great right? Contact Stephanie Greene if you are interested and she’ll help you select a title!

Filmmaking for Teens ~ Register here
Beginning September 2, 5-6 pm
Registration required, 10 Week commitment
For budding directors, camera operators, film crew, actors, script-writers, and editors.  Here is the opportunity to do it all.  Your challenge is to develop, and create a 10 minute film! The film will premiere on November 4th!

October Events

Dungeons & Dragons ~ Mondays or Wednesday in October
Join us, novice or not, for this adventure through ‘The Academy’! Introduction meeting is Monday, October 4th, 5-7 pm.
You will pick your day at this meeting.
Sessions will be Mondays or Wednesdays from 5-7 pm
Limit 5 teens in each session.

Teen Citizen Science Club ~ Saturdays, October 9 & 23, 2-3 pm
Ever wanted to be a part of a scientific team? Here’s your chance.  Projects include: Exploring biodiversity, Measuring Light in the Night, Zombee Hunting, Stream Mapping, Measuring Air Pollution, and others.  Activities involve the  collection of data that help our State. Citizen science is scientific research conducted, in whole or in part, by amateur scientists. Citizen science is sometimes described as “public participation in scientific research,”  Come and be involved.
