Information on COVID-19/Novel Coronavirus


The health and safety of our staff and our patrons is our top priority. Therefore, we are following the recommendations of the federal government by limiting social gatherings to encourage social distancing amidst coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns. The Library is closed until further notice.

The Act One Culture Pass program has been temporarily suspended. It will resume as libraries and arts partners return to normal operations.


AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Sites have suspended service for the remainder of the season.

Library staff will be contacting those with appointments affected by this suspension. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call (480) 474-8555.


The Apache Junction Public Library’s top priority is the health and well-being of our patrons and staff. We are following guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Pinal County Public Health Services District in regard to the coronavirus (COVID-19).  We are taking steps to help mitigate the spread of the virus such as increased availability of hand sanitizer and tissues.

Library Staff will have information available on COVID-19 and proper hygiene practices, such as sneezing or coughing into your elbow, washing your hands frequently, avoiding touching your face, and self-isolating when you feel sick.

Many library resources are available online, such as e-books, music, video, and audiobooks. You can check your account, renew items, and search our catalog online. We are also happy to help you over the phone at (480) 474-8555.
