The library has a variety of opportunities for volunteers. Needs of the library change, but volunteers are often needed for the following areas and tasks:

Circulation Department
- Help with shelving books, videos, cassettes, CDs and DVDs
- "Reading" shelves for proper placement of items

Youth Department
- Help with shelving books
- Assistance with children's crafts
- Assistance with children's programs
- Processing of new materials
- RIF, Reading Is Fundamental -a children's book distribution program

Computer Lab
- Assistance in computer lab classes - Word, Internet, E-mail classes
- Instructors for computer classes/Personalized Individual Training Sessions
