General Catalog Searching
There are four options to searching the Library catalog:
General Word(s) - This will search all fields of an entry such as the item's title, subject and description.
Word(s) from Title - This will search through each title for the words you specify.
Word(s) from Subject - This will search through all the subjects of each title for the words you specify.
List of Authors - Search to find different authors and the authors' books the library currently owns.
To select any of these options, click the arrow on the drop down box and click the method you wouldlike to search.
As a practice search, we will look for the subject of "Gardens." Select "Words from Subject" in the menu and type "Gardens" in the text field beside it. Afterwards, click on "Go" to see your results.
